I have lived in Vacaville for the past 38 years. My husband was in the military and we were Stationed at Travis AFB. I graduated from Solano College and have continued my education. I love to travel as much as I can. The world is a fascinating place to explore. I am a avid quilter as will a gardener. Reading a good book is the best. I have been a realtor for 20 years with Kappel & Kappel and have been one of their top selling agents. I love working with first time buyers as will as the military. I am a listing agent as well as a buying agent. I will go anywhere to help my clients find a home. Real Estate is my passion and I love working with my clients. I have met many wonderful people over the years and many are good friends. In the last three years I have been Kappels top short sale agent and have the designation SFR and a Certified HAFA Specialist. I served as president of the Northern Solano County Association of Realtors in 2006. I was also the president of WCR (Women's Council of Realtors) in 1994. . Vacaville is a great place to raise a family - and that is just what we did! Since I arrived here in 1973, we've raised six children and now enjoy ten grandchildren, all living close by.
After stripping our late 1800s Victorian farmhouse down to the frame, remodeling and adding on, I turned my energies outward, raising thousands of dollars for the Vacaville High School music program, by initiating the Tuesday night bingo game at the Vacaville Bingo Hall. I've also served as a director for Vacaville On Stage, assisting newcomers as they begin with the Vacaville Performing Arts Center. We're also involved in the local business community; my husband and I owned the Cherry Pitt, providing auto smog checks and oil changes. I am now involved with the ACS Gala as co-chair of the auction committee. One in two men and one in three women will get cancer sometime in their life. This is the third year I have been involved with the Gala and we hope to raise over $80,000 for research.
It's evident that I believe in Vacaville and its surrounding areas. It's my community, and I would enjoy helping you become a part of it.
